Vitax Organic Potato Fertiliser is specially formulated to provide the perfect balance of nutrients for the sustained growth of potato tubers. Ideal for potato barrels, planters, and other vegetable crops, this organic fertiliser ensures bumper harvests by promoting strong, healthy potato plants.

This fertiliser provides a slow release of nutrients, helping to feed your plants steadily throughout the growing season, preventing the risk of overfeeding and ensuring that potatoes have the nutrients they need at every stage of growth. For direct planting in the soil, it is best applied between February and April on vacant plots, where you can lightly fork it into the soil before planting.

When using potato barrels or planters, simply ensure your container is at least 30cm wide and deep, with good drainage. After planting the seeds and covering them with a quality compost, add a mixture of compost and Organic Potato Fertiliser to fill the container, giving your plants the optimal environment to thrive.
